Any good sleuths here?

I noticed a tag/logo on the back of a man's pullover/sweater this morning at church. It was during our class time and I snuck a picture. lol :D I liked the look of the sweater and thought my husband would like something like it. Felt too embarrassed to ask the man about it. (We're just getting to know that couple.) The only clothing company I find with D G is Dolce & Gabbana but I don't think that's it. Their logo has big capital letters that overlap. This one, which I think you can see, has a bear, a star, and I can't tell if the curves are antlers or not.

Anyone recognize it? Or are good with internet searches?

Hmm I don't know the brand but the red star and bear reminds me of California's state flag. Wonder if the company is from there?

I've been searching the internet. My hubby said maybe Dolce...but I went on a website that shows current/past Dolce labels and it wasn't there!!! I also tried to upload it in to Amazon but I didn't get any exact results. This is a good one.....

Hmmm. Well, if you come across any men's pullovers/sweaters that look similar, let me know. :D Thanks for taking a look, though.

This is what Gemini said:
The logo on the sweater appears to be for Dugg Clothing.

Duggs Clothing is a Canadian brand known for its outdoor and lifestyle apparel. Their logo features the letters "D" and "G" with a star between them, and a bear image below.

But the site is now defunct

I understand why you don't want to ask, but what if you reframe it? Instead of "we don't know the couple well," what about "maybe asking about his sweater could help form a new friendship"?

I bet you could ask it in such a way that either he/his wife feels flattered that you asked. (I mean, if his wife bought it and you approach the couple to say "last week you had a sweater on in a style I think my husband would like. This is so random, but can I ask the brand? I'd love to check out other items from them" then the wife or husband will be happy that someone liked the sweater they purchased/wore (again not sure who bought it for him, but statistically I assume it was his wife rofl.)

Interesting. And frustrating. lol I tend to naively think that I can instantly find the information I want on the internet. I get proven wrong over and over. :D I've searched the info you copied so many different ways and can't get any results at all. But, no matter, since it said the site is defunct.

Thanks for searching and letting me know. :hugs:

Sara, you're right. I was thinking yesterday morning that they seem to be a couple that we could relate to/with easily. My husband and I did talk with them for about 10 minutes before class started. If it had been someone we've known for years, I would have asked right away. But... since we're still getting to know them (they're somewhat new to the class) I didn't want to creep them out or something by asking about his clothing. lol

I'll probably cave in and ask them next time.
