your new avie is stolen right out of my 10 year old dreams. LOL. I had a heart-shaped pillow on my bed with Zack on it. how cheesy is that?

An ex coworker my age named her son Dylan (as in mckay) and her daughter Mariah (as in Carey).

Just as I am named after a song that came out in 1979.
 
One of my boys is Noah Lucas.

I was heavily into ER. LOL

Noah is for Noah Wyle and the Lucas was for Luka.

The only other one named after someone in my 2nd one, who's middle name was supposed to be Nicklas after Nicklas Lidstrom from the Red Wings, but my ex wouldn't let me spell it like that (even tho he's a total hockey fanatic).
 
I'm named after Chelsea in On Golden Pond. My friend named her son Dylan after Luke Perry's character on 90210.

As for naming kids... it's not from "back in the day", but I named Dominick after Vin Diesel's character on The Fast & The Furious. LOL!
 
My kids aren't named after anyone...(well Josiah is a child-king in the bible and that played into it) but I was gonna be named after Jessica Rabbit...but thankfully that was nixed the day I was born..there's a bazillion Jessicas my age!
 
I chose the name Dylan for my oldest but NOT because of the show. I really wanted him to have an Irish name and that is what stuck. His name is Dylan Sean...He was born with flaming red hair and big brown eyes and has a buttload of freckles. The rest of my kids have some sort of family name, mostly middle names though.
 
Oh and, as a side note, DH just looked at my avatar and signature and said "Oh God, you're seriously deranged. That's sick."

On the message board for the online game me and dh play, someone started a RL picture thread. I logged in as dh and posted THAT EXACT Richard Simmons picture as his. LOL

(later we changed his last name in the game to Simmons, too. lolol)
