An update on us.....

We are now 6 days without power. It is impossible to get gasoline for the cars so we are conserving as best we can.

Things are scary here.

I obviously can't download anything and my budget is limited due to the storm but please....ENABLE ME. What do I need?
 
That is so scary, Alisa. Take care and keep safe. There will be lots of time for scrapping when the power comes back on!
 
I'm sorry-that sounds awful. Hang in there. Praying that things get back to normal quickly.
 
I really hope it gets better soon. I do remember the long lines for gas during hurricanes and food and water. Has fema or red cross sent anyone in to help you all with those things? Do you have anywhere you can go where there is power for you to at least take a warm shower and maybe try to destress? My husbands family works at the casinos in New Jersey so the ones effected by the storm from what I understand are being given a free room at the casino. Ill say a prayer for you for those trying to clean up the mess to get your power back on and that things will start to turn around with gas/food/water etc in your area. Just try to stay warm and stay safe.
 
Hang in there, Alisa! My parents' power finally came back on yesterday. I hope you get yours back soon and that gas gets easier to come by!
 
I am not sure where you are at, but I am in Texas and the power company here that my husband works at sent 2 crews (one being my husband) help get peoples power back on. Hopefully they will have it on soon so you can have power and I can have my husband home!

So sorry about what you guys are going through, Alisa. But, I'm glad you made it safely through the storm. Here's hoping your power is restored soon! We miss you!
 
Florida has sent some power workers as well.

I read that martial law has been ordered in Belmar New Jersey. Anyone know if that is true?

Oh my goodness. I've seen the headlines and thought of you, Alisa. I hope you and your family get power soon and most importantly, stay safe.
