American Idol: Week 5 Votes

Hey gals, time to vote for Round 5! Again this week we're voting off just one person and the guys/gals are mixed, so make sure you only list your bottom 3 COMBINED. Rules have been updated to reflect this. I'll post the current point standings in the results thread after Wednesday's show. Have fun and good luck!!

Here are the rules:

1) After each show, come to the AI thread here and post who you'll think will be in the bottom 3 AND the person(s) you predict will be voted off.

2) All votes MUST BE CAST no later than 30 minutes before the results show STARTS on the EAST COAST (usually 8pm EST, so the votes will be due by 7:30 EST). I will document the votes cast at that time. Any changes made after that time WILL NOT COUNT (I want to be able to actually *watch* the show myself)

3) Points will be given as follows (or modified as fairly as possible depending on how they present the results):
a) One point for identifying someone in the bottom 3, see b) if the person in your bottom 3 is eliminated
b) Three points for correctly identifying the person(s) voted off.
c) Five points will be given at the very end for correctly identifying the winner.

4) PLEASE don't try to "cheat" by editing your posts after 7:30 EST the night of the results. I am going to do the best I can to get everyone's vote properly recorded prior to the show. Up until then, change away if you need to.

I am in the same boat with Teresa. Last week, I almost changed my bye bye to David H. but I didn't and look what happened. LOL

So, I am so tempted to take Syesha out of my B3 and put Jason Castro in. He BUGS me to no end with those stupid facial expressions he makes when he sings and I SO want to take some hedge-clippers and cut those idiotic dreadlocks off! Yuck!

One reason I put Syesha in my B3 is that she doesn't seem to have that huge a fanbase whereas Jason Castro does. It's not just about the singing on this show as Simon has eluded to before.

My gut is telling me to add Jason to my bottom three but now I am not so sure with all the Chekezie picks now too. I thought he was pretty good but I don't really know the song he sang at all so I cannot judge. I DO however know the song that Jason sang and I though he did a pretty bad job !!!!! I agree with Paula though about the fan base thing too so I think after all this typing I am gonna stick with what I have and hope that Kristy gets the boot and I am right about the others. I still have time to change my mind though

just kidding. I adore Jason and nothing you big ol' meanies can say will make me stop! But... with that being said, my heart truly belongs to the most-adorable David Archuletta. From his very first audition I thought he was just too precious for words. So, if I gotta choose between the two, I'd have to pick David. But Jason is pretty fab too. He just seems like such a sweet guy and I dig his laid-back folk-ish vibe. He'd do great on Matt Costa's record label.

LOL-see one woman's YUCK is another's SWOON! I have always had a weird fascination with dreadlocked boys (also baldies, but that is a WHOLE other thread)!!
