If anyone has read and recommends any of these books, let us know. I haven't read most of them, but would like to pick out a couple of good ones during the sale.

I have read Water for Elephants and thought it was pretty good.
 
Misty, the only one I've read is Water For Elephants, and like you, I thought it was good.

I just grabbed War Brides. It's one I've eyed a few times before as I've always been fascinated with WWII era stories.

I'm eyeballing The Sisterhood, The Handmaid's Tale, The Woodcutter, Howl's Moving Castle, The Magician's Elephant and a couple of others. Not sure what I am going to grab before the day is done! I've only read the Host and The Lightning Thief personally.
 
Oh my bad... I've read Lightning Thief, too.

I'm considering The Host. I'm not sure if it's TOO paranormal for my liking though.
 
Hmmm if you didn't like it, R, I think I'll pass. We seem to have similar tastes, and I'm on the iffy side anyway. It isn't like I don't have PLENTY of other things to read right now. LOL
