I am very allergic to dust (primarily wood dust) and dust mites (when I had my "scratch" test, my arm blew up from those two so badly they had to test some of the others again). Also cats (but not dogs) and birch trees (but not birch beer, lol).
I also have a bad, but non-allergic, reaction to aspirin, ibuprofen and other related analgesics (except acetaminophen), and caffeine (and yes this includes chocolate
). So don't get me within a mile of Excedrin. Those all put my stomach in pain or agony depending on how much I've had...
Funny story, when my DH and I were engaged and living together, he did not believe that I was truly allergic to dust (he's not allergic to anything), he thought I was just lazy about housework. We got into an argument about it and he started dusting the fan blades in anger. Next thing he knows, I'm sneezing, wheezing, itching, tearing, and my eyes are red and puffy. He felt so bad about it. From that point on, he does the dusting when he knows I'm going to be out of the house for a while and also warns me.
