I was at Red Lobster tonight with my mom and we saw the warning had been cancelled for Hawaii and immediately thought of you Jen...so glad all appears to be safe!!
We are stationed in S. Korea. And the Tsunami hitting Japan is all over the news here. Apparently it was not as bad as expected. The news reported about 4 ft at the highest flooding a few homes. I'm really thankful the tsunami's all over were not as bad as expected and feel horrid for the earthquake victims and families.

So glad everything is okay so far Jen... I hope everyone else is too!!
I remember spinning out when the Boxing Day tsunami hit, seeing that surge thing happen on the news footage. I always imagined it to be like a massive wave coming up really high (yes, I am blonde - it's my disclaimer in life LOL). I can imagine it would have been scary to see that!
BTW - we only had minor warnings where we were... The Gold Coast was expected to have heavier waves, but as far as I know it all fizzled out to nothing.
