I burned myself!!! I was making a big pot of mac n' cheese last night. I was so exhausted that I started to poor the water out BEFORE I got to the sink. I have burns on my stomach about 1 x 3 inches. :(

Thankfully I have some left over Silvadene from when Annika decided to grab the curling iron a few years ago.

:(

Overnight the burns started to blister. I'm off to work and hopefully it doesn't get worse.

Holy Cow girl....I hope they don't get worse for you!!!!! I have done that too but it burned my hand not my belly!!!

Oh no! I'm so sorry! I burned myself a few weeks ago, but it was much smaller and never blistered--but it still hurt. I feel your pain!

What?! Mac and cheese battle scar? C'mon...at least tell us it was with the heat gun cranking out your latest hybrid masterpiece.

Hope it heals quickly...I'm sure it's uncomfortable! Probably much worse than the time I burned my knee with my curling iron...long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away known as the 80s.

Ouch! I have done that before...except it was with a bowl of Ramen and on my leg...I don't have a scar anymore but i did have one for awhile...I hope it doesn't get worse!

oh no!! burns are the worse! keep it clean and as dry as possible and if you have to cover it get non-adhesive gauze to cover. :( ((samara!))

OUCH! I know ALL about boiling water burns. I got a 2nd degree burn all down my thumb & hand when I worked at Second Cup. They are worse than dry or steam burns! I bought Polysporin for burns, and kept a breathable gauze over the burn, and kept the air on it when I could.

When you get home, put some Polysporin on it, lift up your shirt and keep the air on it. It really does help. The dr told me that when my hand healed it would look like the skin melted, and be tight & shiny. Because I did what I did, I barely have a scar... you can only see it when I'm in a hot shower or bath or hot-tub.
