Hey hey racers! We are soo excited to have you here at the Sweet Shoppe for the 6th stop on your race around the digi-world! This challenge is a ROAD BLOCK which means only one member of your team MUST participate in this challenge and we have a good one for you!

We're putting a twist on a Sweet Shoppe Signature Challenge, the Spin-A-Lift. Once you've chosen which member of your team will officially complete this leg of the race, that person will need to choose a layout from their partner's gallery to spin. For those of you who may be new to the concept of a spin-a-lift you need to take your partner's original layout and turn it 90 degrees left or right, a full 180 degrees OR flip it horizontally or vertically to come up with a brand new composition for your page. Then you just scraplift away.

Here's the twist to make this a bit more challenging than usual... We also want you to switch the subject matter of your partner's original layout so it's the opposite of the original page!!

We think this challenge is going to be so fun and to make sure you understand exactly where we're going with this, I asked the fabulous SugarBabes to help me with a couple of examples. So check it out...

Here SugarBabe Kellie put a spin on SugarBabe Meg's layout by rotating her layout 90 degrees right and she also took Meg's original subject matter of being sleepy and made a page about the opposite, being wide awake...

In the next example, SugarBabe Meg put a spin on Lynnette's original page by rotating her layout 90 degrees left and changing the subject matter from Summer to Winter!

Once you get the hang of it, this is going to be a snap and we know you will have lots of fun spinning, flipping and twisting your partner's original page! All of us are really excited to see what you do, so get going!!

Your pages are due by midnight eastern, 9pm pacific on Sunday, March 16th!

Please post your layouts to the Challenge #6 Gallery at NDISB no later than the above noted deadline. You MUST include the image code for your partner's original layout in your description so their layout is displayed right under yours in the gallery.

To do this, upload your partner's layout sized to 500x500 to photopost or similar and in your layout's description use the following code to show off their original page alongside your credits in the gallery...

Now that all the business is out of the way, here's a look at what you're scrapping for. Our amazing team of designers created a special collaboration kit in honor of this event and it will be in the store on Saturday! Each team who completes this challenge will receive a coupon code to pick it up absolutely FREE. We think it's sweet as can be and perfect for spring and we really hope you enjoy it!

This is going to be SO much fun, Robin! I'm really looking forward to this. I need to arm wrestle my partner to be allowed to do this one. Thanks for hosting challenge no. 6!

I just wondered does it have to use ADSR layouts only or any layout from the other persons gallery? Hugs Crystal xx

This is one sweet challenge! It's great to be doing a challenge at the Sweet Shoppe - I've missed all you llama loving goat huggers LOL

That kit is so stinkin' cute!

I can't wait to see what you sweeties do with this challenge; I had a lot of fun with it!

I think there is a typo in this:

"Your pages are due by midnight eastern on Sunday, March 16th which is 9pm pacific on Saturday, March 15th."

shouldn't it be Midnight EST on Sunday March 16th which is 9pm Pacific on Sunday, March 16th?

Hey LuAnn,

As far as I know, there isnt a typo there. That's straight from an email from Theresa yesterday because I wanted to make sure and confirm the deadline for you guys! Thanks for double checking!

Robin

Oooh oooh chicklets. Theresa just emailed me to correct herself. The deadline IS Sunday night at Midnight EST, 9pm PST. I've changed the OP to reflect that!!
