Adrienne and Elf on a Shelf

When I picked Adrienne up from school yesterday she asked me if I have ever heard about Elf on a Shelf. I told her I had and asked if she wanted him to visit us. No way does she want that creepy little guy in our house! She told me he does things and tries to get the kids in trouble. She told me that he wasted all her friend's marshmallows when he arrived at her house the other day and her friend was upset about it. I asked her what did he do with the marshmallows and she told me he took a bath in them and now they were no good to eat! She made me promise not to have that little guy here. She doesn't trust him! lol
 
My 5th grader was a little skeptical about our Elf returning...I have to admit our elf was rather mischievous. Since I was out of town our Elf wasn't able to return yesterday...I'm thinking he'll be there when he gets home from school but maybe he won't be so mischievous this year :)
 
She actually pulled up utube videos of him so she could show me how bad he could be. She even asked me if I wanted him wandering around our house at night while we slept! She sure didn't! So I guess he won't be a guest in our house this year!
 
That's hysterical! :D My son would be the same! To creepy. He's much more connected to the religious expression of the holiday anyway.
 
ah Adrienne, you are true to the name dear sweet girl. I hate that little elf too. Super creepy thing that I do not want anywhere near my house!! haha
 
That's super cute. That elf requires me to remember every night and I know I would not. So we do not do it. Thankfully, I have not been asked about it.
