ACDSee??

I have ACDSee in my shopping cart. Do I need to get the extended download service for $6.99??

eta: Okay now I am wondering if Picasa can do the same thing as ACDSee? Or do I need to splurge and get ACDSee?

I think I bought it. Cuz I put it on Jordan's computer, and then I got a new laptop. So I wanted to make sure I would be able to get it on my new laptop.

No idea if that's necessary though, lol.

i don't think it's necessary IF you remember to put your license code in a safe place that is not on your PC.

b/c I think you can always DL from acdsee and use your license code.

oh and Picasa is a far cry from ACDSee.

They have a 30 day trial version you can try to see if you like it. I've been using it almost 2 weeks, and I LOVE it. I'm def. going to buy it when the trial is over.

Definitely not necessary. You can always download ACDSee, but they keep upgrading so it may not be the right version.

But, you just save the exe or setup file (whatever it is) to a disk along with a file with your license code and it's the same thing--just free.
