For me the Elements organizer was very sluggish. ACDSee is very zippy and I think a lot more sophisticated.
Plus you can use ACDSee as a browser for your whole system . . . it's like Windows Explorer on steroids.
You can see change the background of pngs so that it's easier to see white ones. You can also prevew TTF font files.
Can unzip rar and zips (and can also create these).
the abr brush viewer is AWESOME!
Yeah, re-tagging 16,000 files can seem like a chore but I think ACDSee is worth it and so much better than Elements organizer (but I haven't tried the Organizer since PSE3 I think).

I think there is a way to transfer the file info for jpgs into ACDsee. but not pngs.
