I can't believe I've been a mom for 9 years! Look how much he has changed!

The first photo was our first day home from the hospital...he was 8 days old. A photo for each year....

and then here he is now...how I know him best...upside down, crazy, never sits still, shoe perpetually untied, constantly chapped lips, can never find socks to wear, smart mouthed and utterly loveable:

We celebrated last week so today is a bit anticlimactic..I've not managed to muster up the emotional energy to post this all day long but wanted to share some photos of my fella on his 9th birthday :)
 
Awe Happy Birthday!!!! I can't believe I creeped up on 4 yrs already... goes by way to fast! Boy he has changed alot tho! Such a cutie!

not at all! I was 20 :) I was 17 when I had my first date/boyfriend, 18 when I got engaged, 19 when I got married, and 20 when I had Nathan :p
 
I was 20 with my first date/bf.... then 21 when i had my son... minus the engagement marriage thing... haha not that I didn't want that!
 
Awww he's gorgeous!

I didn't realize that he was 9! We were pregnant at the same time, Benjamin turns 9 on Thursday! I know how you feel, 9 years flies by!
 
Happy Birthday to him!! Hope he had a good birthday!!

My oldest is creeping up on 18 (77 days I think). She knows exactly how long because apparently turning 18 is some kinda magic number where she will be totally free ;) Ohhh to be young again.
 
Happy Birthday Nathan (and happy 9th anniversary of being a mom for you Lena!} Wow time does fly and even though they tell you in the beginning how fast it will go, you don't really realize it until later! Evan is only 5 and Kyle turns 3 this week and I'm like "Wow" weren't we just walking though the neighborhood with the stroller wondering if we'd ever get a night's sleep!
 
Awww he is too cute! Time really does fly, my oldest son is turning 8 next month and I dont know how that happened?! Happy Birthday Nathan! :)
 
Happy Birthday Nathan!!! And boy I can relate on how fast time flies by! Sam turned 16 in APril (oldest) and Peyton turned 2 (youngest) in July...just seems like yesterday that Peyton was born....
