.......are cracking me up!!!!

every time I see a new one I'm like...OMG I so remember that!

Especially Mistys. My Keds were covered in those things!!!!

Yeah, each time I see a new one part of my tween years comes flooding back to memory.

Glad you like my avie Amy, I thought friendship pins were especially suited for all my friends here at SSD :)

It is a major walk down memory lane. I love them all. Each time I see I new one I think "oh man! why didnt I think of that?"

I am shocked that no one put a sparkley glove, or zombies dancing. No close encounters of the third kind. No ET??? WHere is Annie? I just don't even know what to say. He got his chocolate in my peanut butter- He got his peanut butter in my chocolate!!! Seriously ladies???? lol
I am outraged!!!!

there's an ET avie somewhere.

i want sooo many that i think i may need to change mine every couple of days!!

the 80's were the best, i swear.

Ooooh, me too Liz! I have your Jem avie in my "to-be-used-asap" folder, as well as one referencing the Oregon Trail game we used to play on our green-screen apple "computers" in elementary school. I believe it says... "You died of dysentery"

LOL

no dukes of hazard... no incredible hulk...no smurfs... remember those little tiny duffle bag keychains??? Am I the only one who remembers terry cloth jumpers? Ice capades??? My brain is smoking from these flashbacks to my childhood. Help me!!!

yes!!! i am with you. i feel like 80's avies needs to be broken up into seperate sections for each month of the year. like one month movies, the next clothes, the next tv, then cartoons, the next 'weird random 80's crap', music...etc...soo little time...so much 80's to be had.

I'll play this month! Since I was born in the 80s I'll use some cute cartoon avies that remind me of the cartoons I watched then :-) First up... Care Bears! (which my DD's now into too!) LOL

I just went on a hunt tonight I chose one from the later 80's when I was in highschool. I soo wanted my haircut short like this!

I just tried my hand at making a piece of flair...I think I need more practice...I can't get it un-blurry!
My first one was Michael Jackson. I know he's weird, but he rocked back then!

Hugs everybody!
Leigh

I like totally agree  It's too hard to just pick one piece of 80;s goodness. I'm already on the hunt for my next piece of the 80's. :D

just changed mine. I have so many favorites and video games were a HUGE part of my childhood so I chose one of my favorites from when I would go skating. Gosh that really takes me back. My friends and I would go to the all night skates and they had a dance floor there with a smoke machine LOL. Try not to fall asleep cause if you did you got squirted with a water gun

All these '80's avatars are the best. Such a walk down memory lane! I finally settled on a Lisa Frank sticker for now. I had a huge sticker collection...puffy stickers, scratch and sniff stickers, and of course Lisa Franks. My sister had the one in my avi, but she wouldn't trade it to me.

Jenny I am dying because my son asked for Oregon Trail last year for Xmas! I can't believe it's from the 80's! Too funny!

And I also was looking for a Jem pic to use! I watched it when I was too old to still be watching cartoons!

dang I need to come up with an idea...though it makes me sad to give up Whoville! LOL I never have been one to let go of Christmas easily. I need some kind of idea about the 80s...i'll be back!
