Good grief! So remember that post about me getting rid of all the boy clothes I had. I gave them to a guy and his wife who I grew up with who just had a baby boy last week. Well, she reciprocated with just about as many baby girl clothes! Plus the 3 bins my sister brought over last weekend. I spent the entire weekend sorting and washing baby clothes and it's ridiculous how much I have. It was also so funny to open that dryer and see all that pink! :D So anyway, I got it all sorted and I have 72 size 0-3 mo onsies...plus the fact that she's going to be a winter baby and I won't use onsies as much as I did for DS who was born in May. Girl clothes are SO cute though..I cannot wait to see her in all the sweet dresses and outfits I have now :)...how funny is it that I"m already picturing layouts with some of the outfits lol :)

holy motherload!!!!

My son was a winter baby and I used onsies under all his clothes, just as an extra layer... so I used a ton of them.

LOL-I had so much with Landen...he was/is so spoiled.
There is a local lady who bundles onsies with a receiving blanket and sends them to third world countries-I donated everything I had to her...It is a wonderful feeling to think that somewhere across the ocean a baby is benefiting from my surplus.

I thought about layering them under her other clothes..but it just doesn't get that cold down here kwim? I'm sure I'll use a lot of them but 72?! lol...some of them looked like they're brand new out of the package.

oh yeah I understand. I am in Oregon so the winter gets pretty darn cold! lol
It will be nice that you have so many to choose from when she does wear them! And you can save a few for her dolls later when she is bigger:thumbup:

I had a shopping problem, and Elle had TONS of clothes that she wore once maybe twice, and a few things she never wore :o

Ha-ha! Well, you know if 72 isn't enough...I have 4 bins of girl clothes that I need to get rid of too:w00t:

Wow that's a whole lot of onesies!

I would see if anyone else I knew needed them and if not I would donate them.

Wow that is a lot! My youngest outgrew 0-3 after about a month. I bet she got most of them from baby showers, everyone always tends to buy the 0-3 size, lol.

OMGoodness!!! haha...I love baby girl clothes...I want a lil girl! hehe...but that is alot of onsies...I had a ton too...

Holy cow! That's a lot of onesies! lol

That's why for showers I buy 3-6 months & higher! Everyone else buys the 0-3 and then when it's time for them to be in 3-6 or higher, they have something to wear! lol :)

I'd keep 15 of your favorite ones, then ebay or donate the others. There's no way you need 72 of the same size!

woot I love girl clothes (good thing haha)

Teaghan wears a onesie under everything..her little tummy is so sensitive to almost all her clothes and thicker shirts, etc...I LOVE them!

Isn't it horrible folding all those right out of the dryer though! :D :D I remember thinking a normal size load of laundry isn't so bad, but when it's all teensy tiny baby clothes, you're folding for an hour!!! lol, even now with 3t clothes, there's still a million pieces.
Aren't girl clothes so much fun? I got lucky and got a bunch of hand me downs from a woman who entered her girl in pageants, and they spoiled her terribly, so I didn't even have to buy the girls' first easter dresses-they gave me 2 still with tags on!! It's funny too, they had doubles of a lot of outfits(not sure why with one girl, but it worked out for me). You're gonna have a blast with the girly clothes!!!

Umm, I don;t even want to admit the the amount of clothing my son had/has. I have a shopping addiction! lol If I had a girl it would be 1000x worse I am sure! I shop for girl clothing now and I won;t be having any more kids for atleast 5 years! lol

Use them. Save time on laundry. Two per day gives you 5.14------------weeks worth of onesies before you HAVE to wash them to have her rewear one. :D

Same here! That's what I did with all of mine! Except it's not nearly as cold there as it is here LOL.

Have fun with the pink! I went crazy when I found out Amelia was a girl LOL
