That's right baby, I'm at 6,000 posts and counting!!!

Earlier this year I was on page 6 or 7 of the member's list as far as comments, but I just checked and I'm on page 3--the middle of page 3!! Woop, woop!! I'm getting up there!

Next year, my goal is to be near the top of page 2, (roughly 10,000 posts), if not page 1...ultimately, I'd like to have Cindy's number (she's in #1), but I think it might take some more commenting in the gallery than I'm already doing to surpass her! I'm only 27,000 and some change behind her! :D

Congratulations! I had no idea there was a listing of members by comments or that Cindy had the most. I love that you have goals for this. ;)

Edit: I also had no idea I had over 6,000 myself. Wonder what page I am on? LOL

Yes, if you click at the top "Community", then press "Members" it will generate all the members in the community. Click "posts" and it will put them in order of post counts.

I have this weird obsession about having the most counts where I frequent digitally. I try really hard and I have only achieved it once (at least I think I did) at ScrapMatters before it closed its doors. In January of this year, I've made SSD my full-time shop, gallery and home. With that, I've got my goals for getting in that #1 spot again! :D But I also love commenting in the gallery (which is where most of my posts come from!) I think I did over 100 posts last night while watching (well listening) to another Christmas movie!

Yeah, I knew you were on the first page--although it shouldn't shock me. You are in the gallery as much, if not more, than I am! :wub:
 
Love it!! You are always there in my comments!! You will get there! It was just yesterday you were celebrating 5000!!
 
Yay for you,that's fabulous! I wish I could set a goal like that. Being extremely introverted unfortunitly crosses over often online for me too. I too often question if anything I have to say is important and often struggle to feel I fit in.

You want to know something about me? I'm EXTREMELY INTROVERTED!!! :blink: I don't really like to go out and get really clammy when I have to, it's sad really. I used to be so much better, but lately I just can't bring myself to go out. When I talk with people, I'm pretty good (kind of awkward I'm sure), but then afterward, I'm so exhausted and tired from putting myself out there.

So here, on the computer....I figured if commenting in the gallery (which is where I am normally because you don't have to carry on a conversation like you do here in the forums :blink:) is giving love back to people who might be on the brink of quitting scrapping. I mean we all get in these funks of scrapbooking and I know when that happens, I read comments. Do you know TWO people told me that I'm becoming one of their favorite scrappers? Do you know how much that melted my heart today when I read that? I was so frustrated that it took me a WHOLE DAY to scrap a clustered layout and didn't even want to do anything scrapping today because I was still so frustrated with myself. So to see those comments...mean something to me. I know those comments that I leave for others on their layouts might mean something to them!

So even though I'm extremely introverted and would rather go to the dentist than meet a new person and carry on a conversation, I force myself to go in the gallery and be "social" because those layouts in the gallery are telling a story and I'm doing them a disservice by not looking at them an enjoying their memory they are documenting, even if I write "beautiful". It's giving back to the scrapper and the reward they get from a simple comment is unmeasurable.

That's why I comment in the gallery. That's how I get myself to get out of my shell. I'm not "preaching" to you. But 5 comments a week, 10 a month....mean so much to the world, especially when people realize how introverted you are because you put yourself out there! :wub:

Page 11?!

I was striving for page 2 by the end of the year (that's 7,000 posts). Sometimes I think I can do it, especially with all of the new layouts in the gallery. But then I think "I have to scrap too!!" I don't think my designers would appreciate me skipping my layouts while I comment in the gallery! :blink::D
 
Is it gallery comments? I thought the post count was forum (and comments) IDK I am someone who hates numbers (bank account, post counts.. my weight.. haha I don't like checking any of them)

no, it's all comments.....but 4,240 of my comments are in the gallery. That's where I spend most of my time
