5 days with no water!

Due to some pipes being replaced , I will be without water for FIVE DAYS! Uuuuuuuuugh I don't even want to imagine. I need to rent/buy a big container thingy to store it ...
Water dept. will be sending truckloads of water if we request them, but we still need to store it somewhere.

It's gonna be a DIRTY week blah.

Fill up the bathtub with water...and if you have any of those huge rubbermaid tubs, empty them out and fill 'em up. Go out and buy some of those big water cooler jugs for drinking water/cooking and use the tubs full for cleaning up. Obviously you'd have to find somewhere else to bath...unless you have 2 bathrooms, you could use one for bathing and the other for storing water...
 
Drop by a soda company...they usually have big plastic containers that were used for syrup. Rinse out well and store water. Also, when we lived in Sicily we were always on water allowances. Definitely fill up the tub and worse case, fill up the washing machine. Good Luck :)
 
thanks all -- and thanks for all the tips. Too bad I have neither washer nor tub but I'll do the soda company thing.
