that's what time DS woke up this morning AND yesterday morning...Daylight Savings time is KILLING me...his usual wake up time is 6 am..I could understand 5 am but WHY is he waking up at 4:30???? I guess it's good practice for when the baby gets here lol

I even kept him up an hour later last night to see if it would help and nope..it's like he's his own little alarm clock

here, too. An hour difference my butt. We are normally up at 8 and my kids have gotten up at 6 the last two mornings. I don't get it. This one has been a really rough transition for us all. Parker went to bed for the night at 5:45 on Sunday. Normally he goes to bed at 9. ???

Mine are going to be a little after 6 and waking up before 6. R woke up at 5:10 this morning. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy does DST have to do this to them???

Rae got up extra early today too! Yesterday sucked, today sucks even more! I have a splitting headache, and she's WHINING so much, ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I wish DLST would have that affect on ME. For some crazy reason I keep overleeping and can't get up in the morning!!

Mine is normally up right at 5 am... which has meant 4:00 & 4:05 the last 2 mornings... yuck! I even tried keeping her up later and she fell asleep on the couch instead. I think whoever invented daylight savings time never had kids...

oh, my girls did great this morning finally! they had a horrible time going down last night though, so we're putting them to bed earlier tonight! I think they were overtired!

How old is he again? Isn't he 3 or 4? I don't know what he's like, but a few months ago we picked up a little alarm clock for my daughter (just turned 4) and she knows she has to stay in her room until 7 (you can say 6 since that's his usual time). I put a little sign right under the clock and wrote a 7 on it so she remembers (which she doesn't need after all)... but she knows. So even if she wakes up, she has to stay in her room until 7. It has worked wonderfully!

That is an awesome idea Sarah! I might try that. L.J. was an 8 or 9am sleeper until about a week ago and this morning he wandered into our room at 5:10am!!!! This sucks!

We did that with my DD who was a painfully early rise (like 5 a.m. EVERY DAY) and it worked great.

This is why the rest of the country should wise up and NOT do DST, like here in Arizona. I love it.

I hear ya...the girls didn't get up that early but they were up when I was in the shower this morning and started jumping on the bed being loud. My youngest started squirming around and it wasn't even 6:30 yet.

we do the clock thing too...Cam (4) and Ryleigh (2) have to stay in their room until 6 (SIX) haha...They are allowed to turn the tv on if they get up before that..but they have to stay in their room (unless they have to potty lol)
