Is what my Dh just got at Game Stop on a bunch of old game trade ins!!! :blink: I guess it was originally like $270 something but this week they are giving an extra 30% and then he has their "card" and for that he gets another 10% on top of stuff!!

So he bought 2 BRAND NEW Nintendo DS's (one red and one pink) and 2 BRAND NEW Player's Pak that include
* Aluminum Protective Case
* 2 Screen Protectors

* Car Adapter
* 6 Piece Bay Plug Accent Set:
* 2 Screen Frames
* Rubber plugs keep dust out of: DS game port

* 2 Replacement Styli:
* 5 Game Cases
* Wrist Strap

My girl's are going to be THRILLED with Santa this year!!! :D :D

ETA: that he still had like $50 bucks in credit so i told him to pick something nice up for himself :D :D
 
Holy crap! That's awesome!!!! We have a few games to take into Game Stop. I guess now would be the time! But, we won't get nearly that much! LOL

I had to come in and work OT yesterday to pay for my son's DS for his b-day this weekend. The things we parents do eh? :p
 
WOW - we should look into that. We're wanting to buy a DS for the boys to share, and it's not in the budget, but this would be a way to make it happen...AND get rid of that mound of games in our tv center LOLOL
 
woot! Congrats and the kids will LOOOVE them..and so will Mom when the car bickering stops haha

MY DH needs to take a bunch of PS2 games back since ours finally died. He's moved on to his xbox and PS3 but the kids still played PS2 sometimes...so hopefully he'll get enough for a game or two of PS3 or XBox lol
 
Wow - that's awesome! I have to go in there tomorrow to pick up a pre-ordered game (for DH) and I should take some old games in there. We want to buy a second Xbox for the boys this Christmas to alleviate some of the fighting problems. One Xbox and 5 people wanting to play it at the same time is not very fun...for MOM! :P

that's sooo fabulous! everytime i go in there i leave ticked off. ummm...yes. we can offer $2 for that 2 months old DS game...it's crap! speaking of DS games...wanna buy some from me? pm me if your interested...:)
 
ummm...wow. DH is on his way to Game Stop now to pick up the strategy guide for the new WoW expansion pack. we don't have a lot of games to turn in, but i may go searching, lol. i want a nintendo ds lol!
 
Awesome!!! What a haul! Oh that makes it so easy on the pocketbook!

I bought my DS this year with all those Target gift certificates I got for transferring prescriptions. lol Last year I bought son's Ipod and only paid $30 for it because I had all those GC from prescriptions!
 
The last time we did that I think DS got around $90. Of course he spent it all on himself...little s***!!!! We did have a small credit that he saved that he used to buy Rock Band. I really have to tell them about this so they can go through their games again!!! Thanks for the heads up!!!
