2012 Babies: Let's See 'Em!

I have a 2012's bonus baby to share!

I cannot believe how I cried asking "why" (shame on me :o) and asking myself how it would be being pregnant and moving overseas same time.
Turns out everything is fine and she's just perfect!! :wub:
 
I wish I had a baby to show off!! I have 5 already, but I still find myself every day wishing I had another now that my "baby" is 5. Chris isn't going for it though, so I may have to wait till grandkids unless God gives us a surprise!

OMGOSH, LOOK AT THAT TUFT OF HAIR UP ON THAT ANGEL'S HEAD! How cute is she?!
I'm so glad it turned out okay. I know it was stressful. We moved 6 weeks after Ari was born and started studying Tagalog 2 weeks later, but she's the perfect baby for all this transition. She's made me happy these last six months, and I don't know if I would have been as happy here without her.
 
Okay, let me preface this post by saying that you all have incredibly adorable babies.

Also, CURSES for you all having such beautiful babies! I was all "we are DONE having kids" and was avoiding this thread but the babies lured me in. And now I want just one moooooore. But my hubby isn't on that page.

I have to remind myself that my babies don't sleep for like the first year+ of their lives to curb the baby fever.

LOL I know! It's quite funny and I mess with her calling her "gurl with the curl" heheee
It is stressful, but like you said, it's pretty amazing how perfectly suited she is for this crazy life of me! I am grateful every.single.day for how things aren't what I was expecting. Everything is waaaaaay better!
I'm glad to hear that your sweet baby girl is just what you expected and more! That's a truly bless! :)

Oh, these are all soooo cute!!!
I had my surprise baby in 2010 and I couldn't imagine life without him now. But no more for me either, thanks. :)

Ummm, mine started sleeping through the night at 6 months. : ) Just sayin'...
 
I'm a lucky mommy: both my girls slept through the night since... always. :thumbup:
In fact I had the opposite issue with Olivia - I had a hard time trying to wake her up to feed her at night. She even had poor birth weight recovery because of it. No lie!
I guess they are just as lazy as me LOL :p

Porter is technically a late 2011 baby but he does
qualify as a tail end baby. Took us 7 years after baby #2
to have him but we are so glad we did!

Gorgeous babies, ladies. I am so happy for all of you and all the beautiful kiddos. I've been on both sides of the fence -- we've lost five to miscarriage and we've been blessed with five amazing kids (with #6 due to make is appearance at the end of March). Kids are such a blessing. Hard work...YES. Worth it....YES.

For those of you trying, I wish you all the best. I know the deep longing that goes with it. It can be a very hard and lonely road. For those of you with little ones, soak it in. They grow up so fast and you only have one chance to create a happy childhood for them. Give it your all and the results are so worth it!

No baby for 2012.....mine is a 2011 baby....she'll be 2 on Valentine's day :( Breaks my heart...I want my tiny baby back but I love her little personality and being able to chase after her.

I was blessed with a few new little minions to add to my band of little people though. (a few friends had little ones in 2012....treat them all like my own) And I'll be welcoming a new one in April!! :) I can't wait for my new little nephew!!


Jessica, my mom has said many times that after you have your own kids you don't know how you'll ever love another one more until you have a grandbaby. It's a different kind of love but that love totally trumps a normal parental love. lol And how did I not noticer Austyn's bday is 10/11/12???
 
Chloe started sleeping through the night around 3 1/2 months. I thought I had it in the bag. LOL Then she hit around 8 or 9 months or so and all hell broke lose. She's back to waking up once or twice a night. Fortunately, she's a master of the dream feed and will go back to sleep instantly, but I want my nights back! LOL
 
I haven't had a baby since 1991, BUT....I will be blessed with my first grandchild this year (due in July) from my 27 year old son and his fiance!

And, I am headed out in a bit to take my niece and her little one (a late Dec 2012) baby to lunch today. I haven't seen him yet, so I'm so excited!! I'll be taking lots of pics!!

Our Oopsie doopsie super cutesy baby (also know as my husband's R&R gift to me... so not planned - actually attempted to prevent - as I had a 3.5 month old when I found out I was pregnant! haha) So glad she is here though, the Big Man upstairs had other plans for us apparently ;) Photo taken at 4 months (12/29/12)

Holly my daughter was married on 11/11/11 and had Austyn on 10/11/12 and their apartment they lived in when she was was born was also 1111. That is the first thing I noticed when we went to their new apartmet LOL. I told her she should have waited until 1:14 PM so military time the baby would have been born 10/11/12 13:14
 
omg the cutness is killing me!!!!!!!!!! I remember when you all announced your pregnancies!!!! I am in the "not anymore club" as well....my youngest will be 6 this year and my oldest 20, so until one of them has babies, I will be baby free for now :D ....plus my youngest has pretty severe case of ADHD (or at least I think it is severe) and our whole family is struggling try to work with him....but he is the cutest little thing ever when he makes you laugh!

I know I should avoid this thread, but the cuteness keeps pulling me back. You all have adorable babies! You need to stop posting their smiling, shiny eyed photos and start flooding this thread with photos of crying babies, middle of the night feedings, and piles of dirty diapers. Consider it a public service!

I hear you! Ben's almost 7, and he doesn't sleep through the night either. In fact, it's 1:50 am and I'm in his room right now. :thumbdown: He's had surgery for sleep apnea which helped but not enough, and he's been diagnosed with advanced sleep phase which means he's one of the rare kiddos whose melatonin levels peak too early making him wake for the day between 4 and 5 am. At least it's better now than when he was younger and I had to get up with him that early every day.
