2 year olds are hazardous

to laptops. Totally my fault... I was running Mozy last night, and left the screen partway open with my mouse inside.. and.. yeah. He either stepped on it or leaned on it. It's off to Best Buy repair.. for the 4th time... LOL

Oh wow! I always fear that happening to me with my daughter's obsession with my laptop! Hope they can fix it up for you!
 
omg! lol the worst ce's done is colour on my screen with crayon :D :D :D I think I'd have a heart attack if that happened!
 
I'm MUCH calmer now. Just ask my husband. First I cried, then I told him I was going to throw up, then I emailed Meg and Col and then I took it to Best Buy. LOL I'm still upset, but better. I have accidental damage protection, so it's a free fix, at least.
 
Oh my gosh! I think I would be crying & throwing up along with you if that happened to my computer! Hopefully BB will have it all fixed up & back to you in no time!
 
OMG, I would have thrown up. I hope it's fixed quickly for you. Rae is obsessed with my laptop too, so any time she's awake I have to put it away, closed and turned off.
 
Umm I would have a melt down! At least you have the protection....i didn't get it...now wishing i did! hehe
 
OMGosh, that makes me a little ill just looking at it! You seem to be taking it a lot better than I would be! :)
 
Good thing you got that protection! I didn't and I'm hoping I never have to regret it. LOL Kaylee (she'll be 3 in September) loves to look at my layout slideshow that is on my screensaver and doesn't touch it when it's closed and on the table, but man, she used to! My old laptop has gotten 2 keyboards, a new DVD Burner and 4 new mice mainly because of her. LOL
 
that would have me having a major panic attack! dang!! my beasties know they are NOT allowed to touch Mommy's laptop, for fear of broken fingers (not really, and they know it is a completely idle threat, but they know better).

i certainly hope that is fixable. and good thing you have the extra warranty.
 
Good for you for having the protection plan! My two yr old killed our last laptop. My dh left it on the table, closed, and she went over to it, took the mouse and banged as hard as she could on the top of it. It's a total gonner:cursing:
 
Man, Sara, you and that laptop have been to heck and back, and back again:blink: Best Buy had better fix it up,lol.
I can imagine just how sick you had to've felt when you saw his "artwork". Glad you're feeling much calmer now.
 
Oh my, I would have totally lost it and gone ape sh_ _ on my kid!!!!! I am glad you have that warranty but still.......The worst that has happened to my laptop is a root beer spill on the keyboard, thankfully it was fine but I was still really po'd about it!!!!
 
Omg.I just cried FOR YOU almost. Poor baby laptop of yours. Good think you had insurance! Mine had an accident in Aug 2006 and I just got it fixed in Feb because we were stupid enough to not get insurance. The wanted 400 for anew monitor!
