all of my maddies life from birth til now flashed in front of my eyes. it was a very painful day for the lizzy (and for my maddiekins). afterwards, she promised she will never be too old to sit in my lap and cuddle me. :crying:
The kids all attended a very small preschool, and she has a little "graduation" at the end for her 8 kids, every year. I was very lucky to be able to get all three of my kids in spaces at her school, and she pulls a stunt like this every year. Last year, I about died, so next week when Rae has hers (my baby), I'll be a wreck for sure. I'm trying to be prepared in advance, but there's just no way.
I think slideshow creators WANT to make you sob.
When I was teaching at a pre-k--8th grade private school, the 8th grade grad always featured a slideshow to Michael W Smith's 'Friends'...I wasn't one of the parents, and I knew it was coming, but it almost always got me teary-eyed.
I remember that feeling!! Im kinda feeling the same way this week. My youngest is starting middle school next year and my oldest is going to be a senior next year!!
maddie was bawling too. she just can't believe she is growing up. she told me her biggest fear is that she will wake up one day be a teenager and will be too grown up to kiss and cuddle me. *runs off sobbing*
