10-25: The Walking Dead

I'm hoping against hope that it was Nicholas on top of Glenn that they were eating. I have to believe it.

I want to cry.

Also, the wolves that attacked Rick in the RV, I can't remember, but were those the same that Morgan let go?

I don't think he is dead at all... I think he'll try and hid under Nick... as for how he's gonna get outta that situation... *shrug*

WHAT? You SAW THEM eating him. No way he's still alive. And even if he IS, there's no way he's getting out of that.

Yeahhh... I don't have high hopes for Glen surviving that. It could have been trick of the camera... but who knows right now..

Well in the comics Glenn is actually the character that you are supposed to most identify with on his choices and attitude and such. But John is telling me that he DOES end up dying in them. He's been known to lie about things like that though.

There's a lot of questioning around the Web as to whether he really died because they didn't add him to the in memoriam part of the talking dead and such but if that's true, I totally agree with this article

I thought that it was a great idea on Talking Dead last night that they had one of the Lost creators/producers/I can't remember what, lol, guys on there last night. He had some interesting angles on it and is a master at killing off beloved characters... but then having it not always seem like it happened.

I guess I am just hoping he is somehow still alive... Glenn is one of my top Characters and I am heartbroken. :(

In the comics he does die, but later on. We haven't even met the people/group/group/walker that is responsible for Glenn's gruesome death in the comics. But then again, The creators of the TV show have said, just because it's in the comic books doesn't mean it will happen on the show. Shane didn't live nearly as long as he did in the comic book. A lot of the characters (I think Carol), isn't a character in the book! So there is hope that even if it's in the comic book, the creators will stray knowing how much we'll riot with the death of a beloved character!

My 14-year old cried and cried!! Of course, this season my husband says she can watch the show :crying: She was up until after midnight crying with the occasional "no". Meanwhile, I was browsing the internet trying to find some spoiler that he isn't really dead. And next week, 90-minutes about Morgan?! Who cares about Morgan right now!!!! :cursing:

They didn't add Carol either when they thought she was dead in the tombs. They made a little blip about her, but nothing to say "she's dead".

Glenn and Maggie are probably the main reasons why I watch this show. I have high hopes that Maggie gets pregnant. With the birth of their little one, she/he somehow has the cure leaving Maggie, Glenn and whoever is still alive in to the "promised land" of no walkers. Now if Glenn is dead . . .I've lost a little piece of my heart and my interest in the show just decreased significantly!

Wouldn't Judith already fulfill that idea? She was also conceived and born after it all started.

everyone who watches this show is a tough cookie.. I saw a clip of this "event" and watched it.. I'd have nightmares for weeks if I watched this show.

meh. not if you're used to it. The brutality builds and they mostly kill off characters you don't care about in the beginning so you get used to it.

We are desensitized. LOL

Although I do get up to pee, get a drink of water, a snack, check the thermostat, stand up and jog in place.... haha... A LOT. Totally annoys Aaron. I just need to get up and take a break, honestly. It's pretty intense.

Noooo I liked Glenn :( :( It'll be unrealistic of him to survive that but I hope he does somehow!

I knew it was coming because of the FB spoilers and it being on a day later here but it still made me sad lol.

And for some reason I am not looking forward to next weeks episode as it looks like it's all about Morgan! I hate when they make us wait longer than necessary to find out what's happened!

He's alive. He's got to be alive. Yes, I'm hoping out hope.

And, yes, not really interested in seeing Morgan for 90 mins next week.

Oh, and no one mentioned Rick?! He cut his hand but was it from the walker or the knife? And if it's the knife, did walker blood get in it? From what I read online, in the comics, Rick cuts off his hand. I wonder if they are putting that into the show??

I'm sure he's alive. He'll hide under Nicholas. And my bet is Enid will come rescue him. Also is Rick bit or just got a cut with walker juice in it? I'm waiting for him to cut his hand off next week.

Nope. It's not at all scary in any way. I have nightmares from Dawn of the Dead 10 years ago, but TWD has never worried me. So many people refuse to try it because they think it's about zombies, but it's not. It's about the people.

I don't know why I seem to be the only one who thinks Enid is with the wolves, she said something, now I can't remember what it was but it pretty much gave no doubt that she is with the wolves, it went over Carl's head, I think he likes Enid too much to think that she may be a bad guy. Plus the wolves didn't go to where Carl and Enid were, I am sure it is because they knew she was in there and they didn't want to blow her cover so that they can still use her. I do not think she is saving anybody.

I kinda hoping it's leading to one hand Rick. And even I'd it was the knife that caused the wound he did get walker blood all in it.

The whole "that's how we...." remark? John swears that was her admitting to being a wolf, but I think that she was talking about how her and Carl would sneak in and out of Alexandria.

So I just don't know about this whole Glenn thing. He's one of my favorites and I really hope that somehow he's still alive. Heart wrenching. Damn that show.

I've been saying that Enid is tied to the wolves too.

I never go by what happens in the comics, so different. I mean, Carol was hooked up with Tyrese, there are a lot of people that are dead in the comics and alive on the show and vice versa. Daryl isn't a character at all in print.

I am having a hard time believing he could possibly have survived that... but I looked at some stills and the dumpster IS sort of raised above the ground with some debris blocking the sides. He could maybe slide under there??? Oh, I hope he did.

TWD pulled a Jon Snow. I was literally crying my eyes out thinking poor Maggie. I hate Nicholas what a coward. Ive heard from different sources that he isn't dead. I can't wait for the next episode.
Yes those were the "wolves" that Morgan let go. BIG mistake.

As for Rick's hand
"It’s entirely possible, but we haven’t really gotten into it on the show," said Gimple of the possibility that walker blood in an open wound could prove fatal. "I’m going to go out on a limb here and say something definitive: Rick is OK regarding that cut. His hand will survive. There will be a bandage. There will be some ointment involved. But he’s going to walk away from it."
