I'm so excited to watch this.. I've been waiting & waiting.... I've heard there are suppose to be zombie wolves? ^^^* Rick's got watch on the wall he must be looking for Wildlings. Lololol

In the beginning, I felt like I missed a few episodes. The changing from b/w to color really threw me off and I had a hard time following the episode to watch and enjoy.

My thoughts:
Why would they lure them out of the quarry? Why wouldn't they place a lot more trucks and metal plates to keep them in the quarry instead of freeing thousands of walkers? That is really going to backfire and bite them in the end.

I feel really bad for Morgan. This whole time, when he was sane, Rick was his person he looked up to because he was so good and pure in such a sick and vile world. Now that Morgan has found Rick and seen how much he's changed, his view of him almost seems as if it were a lie.

Judith changed too much from last season to this season. Last season she had blonde hair, this season she looked totally different with dark hair and eyes. I get it, she was in black and white, but she really changed and made it that much unbelievable. The same with Maggie, her hair is a few inches longer than the finale of Season 5 than it was today. How much time passed from the bonfire meeting to this episode?

I know I'll have more, but that's what sticks out off the top of my head tonight.

I thought it was interesting, the Bw/past, color/present worked for me.

I wonder who sounded the horn? I think it was the kid whose dad Rick killed

I liked the back and forth, but I expected it to be more than just a day or two's time between the parts.

And yes, the changes to Judith bugged the mess out of me.

I also can't wait to see how even just the main group interacts with Rick as it seems like his main go-to support people aren't agreeing with some of his decision making.

I actually really liked the whole b/w vs color thing. I thought it was an interesting way to tell the story.

As for how much time had passed, I think the b/w was supposed to be like within hours/days of the meeting, and the color version a couple weeks out? I was just thinking of how much time they'd need to build the barrier and train everyone in what to do. That's a total guess on my part though, so I could be wrong.

That's an interesting thought about the kid blowing the horn. That hadn't even occurred to me. I was thinking it was probably something to do with the wolves.

Thought it was a great episode overall, and I'm excited to see what they do next. It was everything I was missing in Fear The Walking Dead!

I was guessing a few weeks had passed between the b&w stuff and the colour stuff, mostly because of the way Rick's face injuries were healing.

I really liked the episode. Rick is going a bit into "evil-leader" mode so it'll be interesting to see if he can reel it back in or if he's going to lose his humanity.

I liked the B&W vs the color, but my husband and son HATED it.
I agree with Libby. TWD had everything I was missing from FTWD. I actually liked FTWD but I needed "my" show to come back.
I just watched a couple little 6 minute previews and those have me worried about the Rick-Morgan relationship and how the balance will shift.
Can I just say how much I love Carol and Morgan? She thinks she has everyone fooled, but he's got her number. Loved their interaction!

I think this season this is all we will see of Rick-his demise. I think he's going to go crazy this season and I think someone dear to him is going to die that's going to push him over, kind of like when Lori died.

They had one of the writers on Talking Dead and he hinted that there is going to be a lot of heartbreak this season.

I like the b&w/past color/present thing, it kept the pace going through the episode well filling us in on the little details of the last few weeks.

Oh no!! We didn't stay up for the talking dead. This was the first season I let my 14 year old stay up and she fell asleep during the opening of the talking dead! :D

I hope they don't kill off the people that I love. I mean seriously Gabrielle, Sasha, Dena, Abraham, Eugene, all them I'm fine with--just not Rick, Carl, Carol, Michonne, and a few others

Wendy, do you mean Gabriel? I don't think there's a Gabrielle.

The black and white thing took me a bit to get used to. It was interesting though once I got it. I heard it was about a week's time period, but a couple of weeks seems more reasonable.

I noticed the changes in Judith, too. Looks like a totally different child.

Maggie & Glenn basically forgiving Nicholas was pretty awesome. Glenn has always stood out as such an amazing character, I think this is another facet of him.

On the Talking Dead most people thought it was the Wolves honking the horn, not Ron.

I didn't mind the black and white. It was a good episode although I didn't really see the need to draw them away like they did. Carol is one of my faves so I hope they focus more on her this season.

Just watched it. Loved it. I loved the black and white, it helped me understand past vs present.

My first thought was the Wolves using the horn. Reminded me of the trucks & the music. But could be the kid. Another thought was Nicholas with a tractor. I dunno why but I'm just putting it out there.

I thought the same Traci, the darker Judith reminded me of Shane.

And I couldn't get over how old Ethan Embry looked lol.

I also thought that it might be last hurrah for Sasha & Abraham. I feel like they're going to come to an end, given up the fight maybe.

I thought the same thing with Ethan embry, I remember him from can't hardly wait which means he should be about my age, but he looked way older.
