From the moment I saw the thread requesting a Hello Kitty kit, I knew I wanted to make a page about Hello Pumpkin. She's a treasured member of the family and so darn cute. I'm already daydreaming about combining this kit with a Halloween one later this year.

It does not escape me that I have two pages of the cooking mini games and only one of the rest of Super Mario Party Jamboree. At least I get to play with food-themed kits this time ;)

Did I need to make this page? No. Did I want to scrap the photo of us in our matching Monsters Inc pjs? Yes!

I don't consider myself a badass, a princess, or a queen but maybe I should. Here's to less time fighting with a sword and more time relaxing with my crown...

This was one of those ridiculously fun pages I make sometimes just because I can. I do not own a cutting machine but I wanted to pretend like I did and make a giant orange vellum 'moon' with it.

This one roll of expired film took on the most gorgeous pink-orange-golden hue that perfectly match this kit. I think every single page I've made with it has been from this roll of film.

Despite inheriting quite a few really nice film cameras from various family members and friends, I frequently reach for a toy camera to capture little joys and chaotic moments. (I brought a Holga when I photographed a color run and my Diana can frequently be found hanging out the car window.)...

There's quite a few different quotes from photographers about how shooting in black-and-white allows them to capture the essence of something and I agree. Shooting b&w film has been an exercise in mindfulness and scrapping in black and white is a completely different experience.

It's both a pleasure and a curse at times that my son has strong opinions about scrapbook pages. He was very involved in making the cover for his annual album. So was my husband, especially his advice to "buy the kit with the cute cookie"
