I have officially finished his 8 year old birthday scrapbook *on his 9th birthday*. This may be a new record for me. (There's even an unlimited pages promo at Shutterfly so I will have it printed by the end of the weekend.) Trying to find the silver linings is keeping me productive

I know I've scrapped these photos before but I can never pass up the challenge to mix two kits, especially when I'm specifically asked to do so. (Have I mentioned how much I love working with Studio Liv?) The end result is worthy of the most stellar (pun fully intended) Valentine's Day ever.
As soon as I saw that word art with this template, I knew EXACTLY what page I wanted to make. Especially since this kit is the sweetheart of my beloved Lunar Rainbow and the template set is a twist on the sequined ones I love to turn into galaxies. But the best part is the story about the time...

I don't know what it says about me that my favorite Valentine's Day pages are all made with photos from the zoo. Probably that our local zoo does really cute things for the holidays and I'm looking for any excuse to scrap them.
I've been waiting for inspiration to strike so I can finish my December album and I just completed another page. It's not remotely conventional but it feels exactly right. So glad I decided to stick my photos in a template and figure out the rest as I went.

I'm still loving the little elf version of myself I made and sneaking her into my December album every chance I get. I'm working out of order at the moment because I had an idea and ran with it. :D Llama & I didn't get to shop for quite as many kids as usual this year but I think we chose some...
It's become a tradition to run outside at midnight and watch the neighbors' fireworks from our front lawn. This may or may not end up the last page of my December album but I'm strongly leading towards it. (I just have to make progress on the rest first.)
Scrapbooking is that little something that I can do for myself when I have no control over things and my mind is running a mile a minute. We may not finish this IEP (for a homeschooler, no less) by the end of 2025 but I can at least vent my frustrations in a more productive manner.
This page took significantly longer than I expected but it was worth it to capture the magic of this morning's view. Vellum, rainbows, glitter, and glow... this is one of the most 'me' pages I have ever made.
Our matching Hanukkah pajamas are one of my favorite things about this time of year, especially since this pair from last year still fits. (I didn't like this year's print as much.)
When Olivia asked if anyone could make a pocket-ish page to show off these cards, I couldn't pass up a chance to play. I've been very fortunate to have great friends through my life so picking which story to tell wasn't easy.
I was very excited to see the new card templates that Cheryl & Em made. So excited that I made a card 'from' each of them and put them together in a 6x8 page for my December album. (Since I still haven't printed December 2024 yet, I can totally slip it in at the end.)
