One of our summer goals is to find the rest of the hidden areas in Kirby: Star Allies. I could not have found a better kit to scrap it with if I tried (which I didn't because I am so in love with this one.)

I've been trying not to scrap the event the same way every year. That's why I needed 2 new kits this year (or so I am telling myself)

I know I have a page in my gallery about PacMan cupcakes (and have not yet scrapped my attempt at a tie dye PacMan birthday cake) but video game-themed sweets are the way to my husband's heart. And also my son's.

I'm still in love with the postcards and tickets from this kit. I decided to (re)scrap my maternity photos because I thought they'd pair nicely. I also recolored the girl to look more like me.

I took inspiration from the colors of the balloon and went with an analogous color scheme of blue-green, blue, blue-violet, violet, and a little red-violet/magenta

Piecing together this patchwork background was so much fun *and* let me use a bunch of pretty patterned papers I've been eyeing for a while.

I love how everything came together for this: a fun rainbow kit, a lucky shot of a rainbow, and then the perfect template to display them both.

I still have no idea how we ended up in the succulent section but I know that little face needed to come home with 3 of them.

This year is definitely his Mario year. He got Mario Party Jamboree for his birthday and we spent that entire week playing every night before bed.

I'm thinking the classic slasher movies may all end up with very similarly-structured layouts. I'm loving the bingo card, fussy cutting the head out of the patterned paper, the little movie references, and the stitching.

I had very different thoughts for the title of this page until I saw the gorgeous title freebies in Cindy's DSD challenge (https://www.sweetshoppecommunity.com/forum/showthread.php?t=99474). I love it so much more now.

I'm really leaning into the whole "do it for the scrapbook" mentality this month. I even printed out the "scary movie bingo" cards for two of our slasher movie picks. (I may do more but I only printed one of each variation.)
