Ma'am, back away from the rice krispie treats
OMG, why will my family not hurry up and eat the rest of these things?! I can't walk through the kitchen w/o snagging a square. I started making them with marshmallow fluff instead of regular marshmallows and they stay so soft and fall-aparty

LOL - I just threw away all the leftover holiday treats/cookies in my house yesterday. I'm so sick of sugar and Cheyanne even said she didn't want anymore either! Blech!

Trisha Yearwood has this recipe for Crockpot Candy that I make at Christmas time. I took one for the team and ate the rest of them yesterday to get them out of the house. So I feel your pain!!

Just for you, Val...
Make brownies according to package directions. Let cool (important!!) completely; I usually stick them in the freezer for a few minutes. Melt 1 c. chocolate chips and 1 c. butterscotch (or peanut butter) chips on stovetop. Add 1 c. Rice Krispies and mix well. Spread layer of marshmallow fluff over brownies. Then spread melted Krispies-chips on top of marshmallow fluff. ENJOY! |
