lol! I'm trying to figure if Lightroom Tutorials are worth my time. I have Lightroom, CS3, and PSE - so in theory I could use any of those. But I don't have PSP or Aperture.

I edit my raw files in Lightroom and then expert JPGs out to edit in Photoshop.

Mostly LR, and some PS. I honestly don't do much to my personal pictures.

Photoshop with a set of actions by Annie Manning (Paint the Moon). If it matters, I mostly edit to improve my photos (brightness, contrast, adjusting for better color, reducing shadows, etc) rather than to achieve a certain look or effect.

I second Liz's Photoshop with Radlab. Radlab works within Photoshop and it is AWESOME! You can download a free trial that works for ten days I think.

This. Once I tried it, I was hooked. I hardly use actions first anymore - this does 75 at the same time, and I can mix them up and make it my own... then save the "style."

The free trial is 14 days. I know because I am currently in it but I will be purchasing it. LOVE!

Second this. It is nice because I can easily apply the same look at all the photos of a particular time or event.

Actually, LR is a good fit for laziness You can just select presets. You really can't beat one click editing Two clicks if you count exporting to PS

CameraBag 2 on my Macbook. It takes literally less than 5 mins to edit. Love the filters they have.

I was going to say the same thing! LR is so easy. One click editing all the way! And being able to edit a whole series of photos by just clicking sync settings is *awesome*. Such a huge timesaver!

ACR in Photoshop. I only do clean edits, so each edit takes under a minute. Sometimes I'll fix things in Photoshop, but I usually don't bother.

But... you can do that with Lightroom too.. and you can buy outside presets to add in and mix those in and save your mixes as well. lol

I mean unless I'm being super finicky most of my photo editing is done in just a few clicks. Select the photos I want, do a light autofix, click my bump up or down preset, increase clarity. Voila! A whole series of photos done. lol

It may be just as easy, lol! I haven't used Lightroom before. They sound similar - easy, few clicks quick and with personalized settings. I wouldn't be able to compare them though - at least LR and RadLab. I can only go from my experience and use of RadLab.

I also use Adobe Camera Raw. I've tried Lightroom but I don't really "get" it.

Well, this thread has made me want to have a little play with Lightroom... I've always edited solely in Photoshop.

I'm the oddball.

I use Darktable and GIMP. Darktable is similar to LR. GIMP is similar to GS.
