Scrapping goal

I tried digital scrapbooking for the first time in 2008 but back then I wasn't ready for it I guess because I didn't like it at all. In 2010 I tried again and became more enthusiastic.

But...I only made 30 layouts in 2010. In January I set myself a goal for 2011....at least double my layouts.

Now we are halfway the year and yesterday I checked my psd files on spelling mistakes so I could throw away those and resave the jpg file.

I am already at 71 layouts! That's more than 2 a week.....yeah! And I can tell you: I love digital scrapbooking now....

That's wonderful! Do you have any special albums or projects that you are working on? Or are of all your layouts more of a chronological view of the year? Just curious.

I didn't start a P365 because I like taking photos but not if I have to.

But I did start the Log your Memory challenge back in January and I am a little surprised myself that I am still part of that. I joined every single week and I was in time every single week......so my other goal is to finish it in December.

I have no particular book I am working on. I have no kids (yet) so I scrap a little randomly. I just have a 2011 book, a vacation book and my LYM book. I want to bind them after the year is done. But it will be much more than the one book I did last year!

Having lots of layouts is good for your memory ofcourse, but what I am most excited about is that I love to scrapbook layouts again. I started paper scrapping in 2003 and in about 2007 I lost interest in the layout department. I started making cards and I liked that too. Small projects. I made a few digital layouts after I did a Jessica Sprague course...but it wasn't for me back then. But now....I so love it. I make a card once in a while with special occassions or something. But further...I make layouts....I make photos and I love to scrapbook them!
