Default Ever have one of those days

Where you just can't get going? I have one load of laundry done, and one bathroom cleaned and that's it. I need to do the main bathroom, and wash all the sheets.

I'm just so tired, we had a huge storm (still are) with high winds, and everything was banging around outside all night keeping us all awake. So I'm dragging my rear end this morning.

I hate days like this, I like to have everything done by 9 am, and it's now 9am here LOL

Oh yea, me too!!! If my house ever get clean it is usually after the twins are in bed or after they all leave for school in the morning....what's the point of doing it when they are here???

Sounds like you got alot done to me! Seriously, I try to do 2-3 household chores a day, in addition to getting the kiddos fed 3 times a day. That's about all I can manage and still keep everyone happy in the process. Oh, and let's not forget about getting in computer time!

Finally managed to get up, get a shower, and get the other bathroom done and the laundry put in. I have set days where I do certain chores, so I know what I'm looking at each day.

I'm still sooooooo tired though. Yawn.

Ummm, Jamie, that's called "morning" in my house. If I had all that done, it'd be pushing lunchtime. You just need to compare yourself to me more often and you'll feel better about yourself and your accomplishments.

LOL Kellie!! I like that outlook, can I adopt it too?

Jordan's parents are coming to visit this weekend, so tonight and tomorrow will be spent tidying up. Even though his mother has EXPRESSLY said MULTIPLE TIMES, "Please do not ever clean just for me" I feel like I need to, lol. She doesn't want me to feel like she does when her mom and mil come to their house (aka crazed because nothing is EVER clean enough for those to women). Thank god they've never come to visit us, I'd have a heart attack.

Girl, you're way ahead of me. lol It's 3:00 here and I've done NOTHING... and I too have two bathrooms to clean and laundry to do. UGH! I haven't slept well the last two nights either and today Regan is home with a slight fever. I just want to sleep!

Hope your day gets more productive.

The other day, I did the dishes, switched out the laundry (didn't fold it), cooked dinner, and something else that I can't remember now...all in 20 minutes. I think it was the most productive 20 minutes from the whole week. I felt like supermom.

everyday, lol.

While Emma was at Grandma' house for this last week, my house stayed relatively clean with chloe at school and just Aidan here during the day. Now that she is back i can't keep up with it! with all of them playing together its gets trashed quickly. i cleaned it up yesterday morning; had the living room all picked up and the wood floor swept and mopped. Now i get up today and there are a toys in there, shoes all over (i keep them in a wicker basket by the door) empty sippy cups. grrrr. i just want it to stay clean!

Not sure what time zone you're in, but in my time the first post was 7-ish am. If both boys have clean teeth by then, we're having a good morning! Most days I get to way too little of the housework. I thought I'd be better this year since there are 2 mornings when they're both in school, but I'm so worn out from this pregnancy that cleaning dishes from breakfast and emptying the dishwasher feels like a major accomplishment!

I'd say I had a successful day if I got a load a laundry done and a bathroom cleaned. Working full time makes me a really bad housekeeper - by time I get home and deal with the kids - I just don't have the energy!
