For the Sugar Free #29 Challenge.
Journaling:
We travel all the time. It doesn't stop me from seeing the places we want to go. But the panic always sets in. I notice how small the cabin really is. That this large piece of metal really shouldn't be able to fly through the air. At thousands of feet, the chances of survival are nil. zip. nada. As soon as I sit down, I count the number of seats in front of me and behind me to the nearest exit row. If kids are wandering around up front it makes me crazy wondering what would happen if they were to open the hatch...and we were all sucked out. And then I take a deep breath and stick my nose in my book. Because really there's nothing you can do but trust.
