I had to give up my cat. I moved homes and where I live now, I can't keep him. The house is too small and I live near a road with too much traffic. I tried everything I could, but it's just not a good idea to keep him with me. But I found him a beautiful home, a friend from a friend who loves cats. She wanted to take him in immediately. The journal is about saying goodbye to him and to let him now how beautiful he is. I might add a photo in the future, but it hurts to much right now.

I'm so sorry for the goodbye - true love to make sure he's safe and secure in a better home situation, but not easy. Beautiful page. I hope someday the photo is more comforting, like seeing an old friend.

Thank you all for your heartwarming comments. I'm still in a lot of pain and I still cry from time to time. The bright sight is that I can still visit him and I still can get pictures of him. It doesn't make it easier, but it makes it heals my heart a little bit.
