This is one of my favorite gifts to give kids, I almost always do one of these up when dd gets invited to a birthday party as part of the gift. You can get the art kits at the craft store, they usually go on sale around Christmas time and last Christmas I stocked up and got a case of them (LOL). I use an exacto knife to carefully cut the plastic on the side of the lid and slide out the paper cover and replace it with the cover I make to personalize it. If your are really carefully cutting down the side of the lid, you can put a little bit of adhesive where you cut and know one will ever see the cut.
I was so excited when I saw this kit because I knew I had a new kit to make my art case covers with!!!
