Journaling reads: No girl in the history of the world ever drove her brothers more crazy than I did during the years that I was hooked on The Sound of Music. I watched it every single day for about five years! I memorized every single line of dialogue and every single song. I wanted to be one of the von Trapp children. Morgan and Tyler absolutely hated it! But, this was the beginning of my lifelong love of musical theater. And, it’s probably where my love of World War II history began as well. I still love The Sound of Music, but more importantly, I love all music and all theater, and I love learning about history. It has become a much more important part of my life than any of us could have known when I was seven years old.
