I had to drive up to the city for an appointment and about
half way through my long drive, I saw the top cloud forming
very near the highway. I am a huge weather nerd, so I knew
my drive was about to take a turn... A few mins later, I was
under the cloud and the winds were hurricane force and there
was small hail.
Very quickly, conditions worsened to the point where everyone
had to pull over as there was zero visability and we were blow-
ing all over the road. You know it's bad when NYers stop and
pull over on the freeway! Later that night, I checked a local
weather group and someone captured the same storm I was
in from a distance! Absolutely crazy weather for us! July 3, 2025
