Thank you so much for asking. Mom did okay, but it was bitter sweet. He loves school, so I knew he would be fine. He waved 'goodbye mommy' and was off to play.
But it's a harsh reminder that they grow up way to quickly.
What a beautiful page and wonderful photo of precious Finn. As a mama, I know how hard it is for our babies to leave us for school. As a retired kindergarten teacher, I know how excited children are to learn and discover new things. I also know how blessed teachers are that parents share their children with them for the school year. Parents are partners in their child's education for sure! I always cried when my students left me at the end of the year. I knew my time to be with them was over and I was sad it was over.

Also, I think you are a nice, caring and warm person. Those kids were lucky to have you as their kindergarten teacher. I am pretty the kids cried as well at the end of the year!
Oh....yaya....he is starting Kindergarten!!!! Glad to hear Mom was okay - it is always hard because you are soooo excited for them, but miss them soooo much too!! Happy Kindergarten year, Finn!
