Blois is great, I prefer go to Blois rather than Orleans (I'm between) because people are far more nice in Blois than Orleans. Not all of course but the vibes is truly different. My grand mother was more from this side of France and my other was from where we live but my grand fathers were from other places. How fun!
Blois has a beautiful castle too and lots of beautiful monuments. You have lots of Loire Castle around and medieval cities like our. Orleans is also a msut see because there's also very beautiful monuments but the cities are not far. Maybe we will meet one day!
I love to know you have Blois in your name and having some links with this city! Does your dad has French origins?
