Oh my goodness. I do not know what is WRONG with some dog owners.
My grandson was attacked and bit multiple times by a neighbor's dog that escaped their yard. Dog even bit one of their kids who was trying to pull the dog off my grandson.
Chase ended up in the ER, dog was put down by animal control as it was deemed to vicious to re-home ... NOT the dog's fault the owner mistreated it and animal control couldn't do anything about it (I'd called them multiple times).
I ended up taking Chase to counseling b/c of his resulting anxiety ... you might want to talk to a counselor too. {{{hugs}}}
omgosh!! I am so sorry!! your layout is beautiful but I sympathize - except for me it was a small dog - but so similar. I didn't realize a small dog could hurt so bad. SO many people don't have control over their dogs yet still have them off leash - it's infuriating.
What? Really? How can people be like that! I am so sorry that happened to you.
I am in shock by reading how the owner reacted.
