We did a Mediterranean Cruise last year in September for my 65th. Cunard had gotten us dying to Rome on the boarding day, which would mean a 06:00am flight and then a drive of at least one hour to the Civitavecchia port...we decided to open the tickets and fly a couple of days before, spend two nights I Rome, which will make it easy on my health. We kept finding amazing people, Sarita DD got impressed with how much I remembered of my Italian, we were communicating fabulously, now, we only had in reality a day and a bit...what did we do?
Well...of course, us being us...a Food Tour LOL, was great, Sarita insisted she needed to go to the Colosseum, we had dinner directly in front of it!!! the food was amazing and the illuminated building was an emotion incredible. The photo was earlier on, we went to the Trevi Fountain but it was packed full of people so we left the area and found this little square with bars and tables outside, had some coffee and just soaked in the Italian sun...wonderful!!!!!! So glad I decided to spend the money and do the whole trip! Mirjam's kit couldn't;'t be a better fit!!
