Irrational Fear

For the Sugar Free Challenge

Squeaky Clean by Jacque Larsen at The Lilypad

Journaling reads:
I have many fears. This is something that I accept about myself and do my best to compensate for every day.
I hate heights.
I am afraid to drive in the snow.
I don’t like driving on the highway.
Holding a snake would give me a heart attack.
There is NO CHANCE I will fly in an airplane!
These fears are what I would call rational. There is a logical reason for my fear and true subtstational consequences.
I do have one fear, however, that is
completely unfounded.
Each day when I get in the shower and stand with the water pouring over my head, I fear that the floor will stop supporting the tub and that it will crash through the floor leaving me to be found buck naked in the kitchen.
I have had this fear for as long as I can remember. Never once I have I seen a story on the news of this happening or even known anyone of whom this happened to. I have no idea how I ever got the idea in my head.
Maybe verbalizing this fear will help me somehow put it behind me so I can finally relax in the shower!
WOW!
What a weird fear...I'm sure its based in your subconscious somewhere.
Great little page.

What a great page Rachael! Love your journaling and no it's not such a wierd fear, you should hear some of my doosies lol!

Wow Rachael! I can totally relate to that one, but I always wonder if it's my fat toosh that's gonna break the floor through! LOL
