I just returned from a trip that included 2 nights in Bruges. We loved it so much we cancelled our daytrip to Brussels to stay in Bruges the extra time and explore. It is the best place I've ever been. I'm so sorry to hear how it voted. I don't think our hosts (also both born and raised in Bruges) voted/feels that way based on conversations we had at breakfast, but I'm speculating. Your page is passionate and includes wonderful journaling. Great work.
I've done some virtual tours of Bruges and it looks like an absolutely gorgeous place. I'm sorry there is so much division in your politics. It's such a difficult time in the world right now but I do love how your page turned out!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE Belgium!!!!!! We went to Brussels with my daughter (long time ago, 2007) and fell in love with the city so much, the planned trip to Bruges didn't happen, we stayed in Brussels, too much to see... we have been wanting to go Bruges since, probably will take a cruise that will take us there next year.... your page is gorgeous, thought I feel you on the division and many other things that some politician are imposing in the world, we should all be united, and stop the imposing on others .... anyway, hope they don't get to split Belgium, despite the many cultures, it is one distinctive country and would be better left united!!!
