We decorated our tree yesterday.
And someone thought it was very interesting. I think he said Oh! Oh! Oh! over a hundred times. And he loves touching the ornaments.
I couldn't help but snap a few photos.
Also, since my grandfather passed away and my grandmother shows no interest in Christmas any longer, I got a few of her ornaments. The gold angel on the photo is one of them. My grandmother loves angels and I am so happy I got her favorite ornaments hanging in my tree. I have more the one angel showing on the photo.

I love how you used this kit and template! It's so much fun to watch toddlers in awe of the holiday decorations. You're going to have so much fun with Finn at this age this year for Christmas! It's too bad your Grandma isn't into Christmas this year, but lucky you for being the one to get some of her treasured decorations!

@Jennifer: My grandmother suffers from dementia. She isn't interested in anything anymore. She used to love photos and photoalbums. Now, she doesn't even take a look at them. Same with Christmas. It's all gone. It doesn't mean anything to her anymore.

What a lovely, lovely layout with such sweet memories. I love Finn's awe and delight in the tree and ornaments. Rich has a lot of ornaments that were his parents and we include them on our tree, too.

So sorry to hear of your Grandmother. Mine had Alzheimers and I remember how sad it was when she got to that stage. Nice that you can have some of her ornaments to remember the times you had with her. Finn is so cute. Its so magical their first few christmases. Beautiful layout.
