I wanted to let you ladies know my grandfather passed away last week. My heart is broken. I feel so lost. I'll be around, but maybe not much in the mood for scrapping.

I am so sorry for your loss, Sarah!

I love the map patterned paper with the stitching on the woodgrain paper. Great looking LO!

I'm so sorry about your grandfather. I immediately thought about "Twee Marcellekes." (I assume that's the grandfather that passed away.) I'm so glad for you and Finn that you have those pictures and memories (and many others) to look back on. I'll be thinking about and praying for you. Big hugs, my sweet friend. :wub:

Hugs, my friend--I'm so sorry about your grandfather! I totally understand about not wanting to scrap at a time like this, but then again, it might be healing too. I love this page--the map paper is perfect here and I love the fun elements tucked in.

@Charlene: yes, that's the one. He is my best friend. My hero. I love him more than anything. I miss him so much.
His funeral was yesterday and it hit me hard.
