International Tiger Day

JOURNALING: Over the last 150 years, the tigers' range has shrunk by nearly 95%. There are estimated to be around 3,900 tigers left in the wild. The largest number of wild tigers are in India.
Tigers have soft toe pads which help them walk silently through their habitat. A Tiger typically will travel 6-12 miles during a night's hunting. A tiger's stripes act as camouflage, allowing it to blend in with its surroundings for stalking and ambushing its prey.
A large deer can provide a tiger with one week's food, but only one out of every ten hunts is successful. Tigers are usually solitary in nature, interacting briefly only for mating purposes and occasionally to share their kill. Tiger cubs are born blind and only half of the cubs survive to adulthood.

Very interesting information and gorgeous pictures for the "Day" of the tiger. I like the tiger element and the tiger-strip background paper.

Love the simplicity of this page. The colors go very well together.
Thank you for playing along our challenge! :)
