You are so amazing! :wub: I love your layout, I love your story and I love your dress! I bought a load of dress patterns and a dress making book and a load of fabrics way back in 2015 or so. I had plans to make so many cute dresses with my rarely used sewing machine. I had recently lost a lot of weight. Well, life circumstances got in my way and took up my time and I gained most of that weight back. I kept thinking that "when" I lose that weight again, I'll start on the dresses. Well, the boxes of all that lovely cloth are sitting in my basement. I need to do something about that! Gonna hit that "favorites" button on your layout! :wub:
This layout just caught my eye in the gallery. IT IS FABULOUS!!! Looks just like it could have come right off the page of a magazine. Super interpretation of the original. But, what makes it even better is your story. CONGRATS on that beautiful dress and hope you had a ball at the wedding. Love that you took two patterns and "mashed them up." I used to do that for Cabbage Patch Dolls YEARS AGO. I'm not sure I even know HOW to thread my machine now!
Angie!! I have the same superpower Right now I am working on a test for the dress that I want to wear for my 50th birthday lunch, I have already modified the jumpsuit for the evening do! I love love this dress and your layout is perfect. I just got a serger for my 50th as an early gift and it is a game changer!
