Today we went on a night hike with the Ranger to capture the night with all senses.
First, everyone had to feel things in a bag from the forest
Then the children were allowed to sneak past us, who was trying to hear the footsteps like an owl
A little further on we searched for a treasure and at an other place we were able to guess the scents of the animals based on samples.
At the edge of the forest we could observe the flight of the bat.
Here the ranger gave us with a bat detector
even made the call of the bat audible.
Finally, everyone had to walk alone for quite a while through the dark forest and listen to the sounds in the forest.
