Those beach houses are tiny cabins you can rent for a day, week, month...
You can drop all your belongings (beach chairs, umbrella's, your clothes, wallet etc...) in them when you spend the day on the beach.

@Mone: I am not a big fan of beaches in Belgium, but I can recommend the one in Oostduinkerke. It's not too crowded and it is a clean beach. It's the only Belgian beach I really like.
