Love the colors you used, with the paint, the paper strips and buttons. Love the painted border on you photo as well, just a tiny detail to make it pop.
And I can so relate to the feeling you described... my daughter will turn 18 in just a few weeks... when did that happen? I still feel her kicks in my belly.
