IN 2011, two of my cousins' daughters in South America asked if I could buy a pair of Hunter Boots, they would send me the money up front. I had never heard of these, though they have a great history and apparently are the ones used in industrial work, no way your feet will get wet or anything would penetrate them. I did a bit of research, buying direct from Hunters was actually cheaper, when I told them the price, they said the people selling over there were charging 4 times more...so we agree they will give my mum the money instead. After all the talk I heard and read about the boots, I asked Sarita if she wanted a pair...she said mum, yeas, but they are 83 quid????? (sterling pound, Britain's currency) this was in 2011 so you can think about almost US$200 for a pair of boots...I think this was the VERY first time we paid full price for something... she still has them and wears them, best money ever spent!
